Where do we begin, when there’s so much that needs to be said?! We are proud to call Moses our family, he was a wonderful man with a benevolent heart that never stopped giving. He continues to this day beyond his physical being to give, his memory imparts in us a selfless desire to be better, to do the right thing without reservation or apology, because the right thing isn’t always the popular thing. He was a righteous man with a “golden heart” a heart that guided his life’s journey for 80 years. A clear heart, penetrable only by love and the goodness that he was, an otherwise, shielding heart, protecting everyone in his life against contemptuous and the always so present corruptive affections... Not Moses, not for glory nor for prosperity, he was a man of honor that lived his life through hard work and dedication, and that’s who he was! He once told me, “we are Saraiva’s and we embody the meaning of Survivors”, he took solace in metaphors and laughed only like he could. And now, we take solace in that laughter and we promise my loving cousin, we will never forget you. Your memory will live in our hearts forever! Love always, João Saraiva & Family
