Please share a memory of Victor to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
With sadness in out hearts Victor A. Cortes passed away on March 29, 2022 at the age of 71. Victor was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico on March 10, 1951. Victor came from Puerto Rico when he was a teenage and lived in Yonkers for over 45 years. Victor has been called home to join our lord and savior and his parents Julia Aponte & Angel Cortes. Victor had 18 siblings survived by 16. He is survived by his wife Aixa Cortes and his two daughters Jessica & Carolyn Cortes. He also has 5 grandchildren from his daughter Jessica. David, Aixandra, Derek, Daniel & Alayna. He was very well known in Yonkers by so many people who became friends throughout the years. Victor loved to enjoy life and eat amazing Spanish food. He loved his culture and music. Victor was very young at heart. He loved his wife very much and for those who knew him knew they were always together. The unconditional love he had for his children and grandchildren is unexplainable. Victor was very ill for many years battling kidney failure and with sadness in our hearts he is now free of all his pain and is resting with our Lord. He will be missed and we will cherish all of the great memories he has left here on earth for all of us. We pray he is at peace and with his family that we have lost. RIP Daddy forever in our hearts.
