Obituary of Karim Marjieh

Karim (Chico) Fhaid Marjieh, 66, of Yonkers, NY, passed away on April 7, 2022 in St. John's Hospital. Wake service will be held at Sinatra Memorial Home on April 8 from 4:00pm- 8:00pm. The funeral will be on Saturday April 9, 2022 at 9:00am at St. Mary's Church, 103 South Broadway, Yonkers Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery located 50 Jackson Ave, Yonkers Followed by the Mercy Meal at The Westchester Manor, located at 140 Saw Mill Rd., Hastings-on-Hudson Karim was born in Zarqa, Jordan to Fhaid and Afaf Marjieh on January 6, 1956. He immigrated to the United States with his family in 1974. He attended Yonkers High School. He worked as a machinist for the city of Yonkers for over 20 years. Karim loved the outdoors and took on many hobbies like fishing, crabbing, and hunting. Karim was an active donator to St. Jude's Children Hospital. Karim is survived by his loving wife Renee, his three daughters Mary(Ammir), Marvet(Tony), Antoinette and his 6 grandchildren Jamil James, Avanna Shea, Annalise Skye, Avanjoline Renee, Antonio Giorgio, and Cristiano Karim. He is also survived by his siblings Laila, Kamel, Kamal, Kameel, Akram, Karam and Susan and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Mary's church or masses to be held in his honor.
