I grew up on Union Street in Jersey City in the mid 1960s. Hugh ( we called him ‘H.I’) was one of our friends and playmates. He was a good kid who came from a very nice family. Even though we didn’t grow to know one another after our childhoods, I was sad to read about his passing earlier this year. I want to express my deepest condolences to Hugh’s family, friends and anyone else whose life was touched by him.
