The world lost a beloved mother, Christine Joan Smith, on April 27, 2022 from Yonkers, NY. She was a mother and friend to all who met her. Christine was a wonderful funny fantastic strong woman. Mom dedicated her life to helping others. Even working in the field of caregivers, where she retired from Ability Beyond Disability taking care of people with acquired dramatic brain injuries. She will be remembered, and will forever be in our hearts.
She is survived by her two daughters, Sarah Blake and Heather Hweimel Blasko, and two grandchildren, Eric (12) and Violet (2) , who made up the entirety of her world. As well as two sisters , a brother, nieces, nephews, son-in laws and numerous friends.
Friends are invited to say a final goodbye to Christine on Thursday, May 5th at Sinatra Funeral Home , 315 S Broadway, Yonkers, NY from 4-8 pm
The funeral is May 6 10am @ St Anthony's Church, 10 Squire Ave , Yonkers. Her final resting place will be Mount Hope Cemetery
