Obituary of Frances T. Williams
Please share a memory of Frances to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Our beloved Frances T Williams passed into eternal rest on May 1, 2022 surrounded by her children. Born on August 18, 1934 in Thomasville, Georgia, she was the daughter of Willie Mae and Frank Ivey, along with seven siblings.
In the mid-1950's Frances moved with her family to Mount Kisco, NY and later settled in Bedford Hills, NY. A true servant of God she was a dedicated member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Mt. Kisco, NY for over 30 years and was a committed member of the choir. In 1995 she joined Antioch Baptist Church in Bedford Hills, NY and continued with her love for singing in the choir.
For over 60 years Frances worked as an exceptional caregiver for the youth and in private Healthcare services. She finally retired in 2020. She took great pride in spending her retirement days cultivating and tending to her beautiful flower and vegetable garden. She was always there to offer a word of encouragement, a helping hand and her famous chocolate cake. She made sure her home was always a place filled with love, warmth and family.
Frances was a pillar of strength and the center of the lives of her three children Carolyn A Williams of Bedford Hills, NY, Frances Williams-George of Patterson, NY, Mark Anthony Williams of Richmond, VA and her son-in-law Ronnie George of Patterson, NY. She will be dearly missed.
Our loving mother leaves to celebrate her life her grandchildren Keshia Williams, DeSeana Williams, Nicole Reis, Crystal Williams, Mark Williams and great grandchildren Brooklyn Page, Montee Williams, Kobee Williams and Rodgee Williams.
Frances T Williams was preceded by her brothers Albert Ivey, Frank Ivey Jr., Curtis Ivey, and sisters Almon Cross, Willie Ruth Hill and Marion O'Neal. She is survived by her brother George Ivey.
To honor Frances' final wishes, private services will be held on
