Obituary of Maria Del Bene

Maria Olympia Del Bene, 95, of Yonkers passed away on Tuesday May 3rd, 2022. Maria was born in Palena, Italy on August 22, 1926. She was the daughter of the late Luigi and Olympia Parente. She came to the United States in 1956 where she lovingly raised her family and worked until her retirement in 1977. She is survived by her son Jerry and his wife Sonia (Canaletich) and her beloved grandchildren; Victor, Andrea and Michael, and her beloved daughter-in-law Angela (Capobianco), and beloved sisters; Bruna, Fernanda and brother Armando, and her beloved sisters-in-law; Gina (Vittoria), Mary (Del Bene), Nina (Campana) and Elvira (Parente). Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 499 Yonkers Avenue Yonkers, New York 10704 on Friday May 6th. Visiting hours 4 pm to 8 pm. She will have a mass of Christian burial at Christ the King Church on May 7th at 10AM at 740 North Broadway, Yonkers, New York. Entombment to follow at Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale, New York.
