Elisa Braxton Hooks was born on October 24, 1968 in Bronx, NY. She was the third oldest child of six children to the parents of John and Lottie Braxton. Preceding her in death was her father John, eldest brother Richard and youngest brother Rahkee. On the Eighteenth day of May 2022, Lisa earned her wings. She passed away at the age of 53. Lisa passed away surrounded by her loved ones after a courageous battle with illness. Our hearts carry an overload of sorrow and our tears overflow. A sorrow to great to be told but to those who loved her and lost her our memories will never grow old. We will never question why you was taken from us so soon, but we know you are in a better place. Now a part of us is gone with you, and will never be the same …Until we meet again. You will always be in our hearts and prayers. Lisa leaves to mourn and cherish her memory: Beloved son, Scott Hooks Jr., Her precious Mom, Lottie Braxton, two beloved sisters, Sharon and Tarsha, beloved brother Horatio.
