Vera Stella, age 74, of Yonkers died Friday, January 22, 2010. Mrs. Stella was born August 29, 1935 in Yonkers, NY the daughter of the late Peter and Anna Holowiak. She was Home Maker and worked at FW Woolworth for many years. Vera loved her needlepoint and crocheting. Beloved wife of Emanuel Stella. Dear mother of Emil (Cathy) Stella and Michael ( Linda) Stella. Brother of Peter Holowiak, and the late Mary Matis, Andrew Holowiak, Steven Holowiak, Harry Holowiak, Michael Holowiak, John Holowiak, and William Holowiak. Also surviving are 4 Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Monday from 2 PM to 4 PM and 7PM to 9PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral will be Tuesday at 9:30 at Trinity Russian Orthodox Church, 15 Seymour St, Yonkers. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery.
