Obituary of Lorena Iori

Lorena Iori, age 57, of Yonkers, NY, passed away on May 29, 2022. Lorena Iori was born on January 24,1965 to Nicola and Filomena Morelli. Lorena was one of six children (Americo, Rosa, Patricia, Antonella, and Linda); Lorena now joins her younger sister, Antonella, in heaven. Lorena attended Roosevelt High School, and worked at her family's restaurant business, Reggia Morelli. She received her Associate's Degree from Westchester Community College, and then opened her own business, Bella Vista Deli, with her sister, Patricia Salza. On July 28, 1996, Lorena married Bruno Iori. Together, they raised three beautiful children (Paul Anthony, Nicole, and Christopher) and re-opened her family's restaurant business. Lorena was a dedicated mother, wife, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend. Lorena was highly involved and supportive throughout her children's lives, whether it be Boy Scouts, piano lessons, volleyball, or crew. Lorena's diagnosis never wavered her devotion to her husband, children, family, and friends. Even in her last days, Lorena never succumbed to her illness and courageously fought to rejoin her family, friends, and community in good health. One of Lorena's last involvements was her volunteer work and support for her son's Eagle Scout Project, the St. Padre Pio prayer garden at the Our Lady of Fatima Church in Scarsdale, NY. Lorena's will and strength continue to live on through her family and friends. Friends and family may visit at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 499 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers, NY on Friday, June 3, 2022 from 4PM to 8PM. A funeral mass will be held in her memory at Our Lady of Fatima Church on June 4, 2022 at 11:15 AM, located at 5 Strathmore Rd, Scarsdale, NY 10583. Entombment to follow at Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, NY.
