I met Carmela about 12 years ago and was immediately impressed with her vigor, the delicious meals she prepared and her stories of Sicily and family. She was a perfectionist in all she did....a little intimidating to those of us who are not! Her love of family and her Sicilian heritage were a source of pride and obvious to all. I will miss her and the many stories she could tell, which were always done with a flourish! Mary Damiani
