Obituary of Lena Falcone

Lena was, and remains, our dearly loved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and wife. Lena was born in 1934 to Concetta and Antonio. She was the beloved sister of Louise and Nellie, who predecease her. In 1960, Lena married Angelo (Oscar) Falcone, who also predeceases her. Lena is the dear mother of Angela (Mike) Sforza and the cherished grandmother of Toni-Ann and Michael. Lena’s remarkable independence, artistic and culinary talents, her fearless strength, individuality, curiosity, eccentricity, inattention to the opinions of others, selfless love, measured sharing of her knowledge, and boundless patience and loyalty are among our most favorite of her innumerable attributes. The pain of her absence will be felt forever, but Lena’s influence on her family and loved ones will be treasured and maintained for generations to come.
