Audra Marie Spinella (nee Tufo) of Mohegan Lake, NY passed away on January 25th, 2010 after a long battle with cancer at the age of 38. She was born on July 19, 1971 in the Bronx to Marie and Edward Tufo. After moving to Yonkers, she attended public school, Our Lady of Victory High School and Cortland State College where she received her teaching degree. She went on to Pace University for her Masters Degree and started her teaching career in the Bronx. Audra then went on to the William E. Cottle School in Tuckahoe where she was a reading teacher for the past 11 years. She loved being a teacher, enjoyed reading, the beach, the ocean, music and dancing, but most of all, she loved her family. Adored wife of Thomas. Devoted mother of twin babies, Adam James and Olivia Margaret and the late James Thomas. Treasured daughter of Marie Tufo and the late Edward Tufo. Beloved sister of Alicia (Michael) Cappelli of Rye Brook, NY and Andrea (Stephen) Gruppuso of Yorktown Heights, NY. Cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews and a dear friend to all. In lieu of flowers contributions to the education of the twins would be greatly appreciated. Friends may call at the Westchester Funeral Home, Inc., 190 Main Street, Tuckahoe, NY on Thursday and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass on Saturday at St. Ann Church (Yonkers) at 10:30 AM.
