Obituary of Linda Marie Hadala

Linda Mancusi Hadala, 61, passed away on Thursday, August 4th, 2022, peacefully in her home in CT, surrounded by family after bravely battling cancer for 7 years. Linda was born to Peter and Billie (Johnston) Mancusi on November 8th, 1960. She attended Elizabeth Seton Academy, School 13, St. Ann's School, and Our Lady of Victory Academy. She married Joseph Michael Hadala in 1979 and together they had two children: a son, Joseph Stephen Hadala, and a daughter, Christina Marie Mancusi. A former 60-year resident of Yonkers, Linda truly loved her hometown. Over the years, Linda wore many hats while working at the DMV, State Farm, Gidron Cadillac, DiSimone Volvo, and Gambardella Towing. She was a Democratic District Leader and volunteered for many campaigns. She also volunteered for the Yonkers Bike Club. She enjoyed taking yoga classes and gathering with her friends from around Yonkers. She is survived by her mother, Billie, her two children, Joseph and Christina, daughter-in-law Nicolette, her brother Peter Mancusi, her godsister-in-law Juliana Tsiamtsiouris, as well as her nieces and nephews and her beloved granddog, Otis. She is predeceased by her father, Peter Mancusi, and by Joseph M. Hadala. Visitation and Memorial Service will be held at Sinatra Memorial Home, 499 Yonkers Avenue in Yonkers NY, on Sunday August 14th, 2022, from 2pm to 6pm.
