Athanasios Kanganis was born in Perista, Greece on March 7, 1930. He was a gentle soul who was known for his kindness and temperate nature. He was universally liked and admired by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his siblings Elias, Marina and George, his brother-in-law George, his sister-in-law Athanasia, his nieces and nephews, Antonia (John), Helen (John), John (Laura), Eleftherios and Eleni, and his great-nieces Irene, Betty and Elle, and great-nephews Brandon, Nico and Vance
