Daniel "Danny" M DePonto born May 26, 1955 and passed away on September 18, 2022. Predeceased by his parents Donato DePonto and Margaret (Howley) DePonto. Survived by his wife Jean DePonto, his son Daniel (Kelly) DePonto, his daughter Dawn (Nicholas) Mastrangelo. His sisters Gail DePonto, Diane (Frank) Oringer. His beloved granddaughters Mia, Makayla, Madeline. Also, his niece, nephews and many cousins.
Daniel was born and raised in Yonkers where he resided until the time of his death. He was a graduate of Yonkers High School in 1973. Married the love of his life in 1977. Daniel worked for the City of Yonkers then went on to work for Metro North Railroad. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Simple pleasures in life brought him great joy. His favorite times were with his family especially with his three granddaughters. Daniel loved to tell them stories and teach them things that only a "Poppy" could do. Poppy will forever live on in our hearts.
