Anne (Kelly) Falvo, , a long-time resident of Yonkers, NY, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at the age of 94. She was born in Springfield, Mass., the daughter of Benjamin and Pauline Greller. Anne married Frederick Falvo on June 12, 1938 and remained happily married until his death in 1975. Anne worked in the travel business, eventually opening her own agency, Falvo Travel, in Riverdale, NY, in 1970. She was an avid traveler, visiting China, South Africa, and India, among other places. Anne is survived by her son, William Falvo and daughter-in-law Maria, of Yonkers; and her daughter Susan (Falvo) Schaefer and sonin-law Dr. Paul Schaefer, of Rockville, Md. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Meredith Falvo, Christopher Falvo, Ericka (Shaefer) Caslin and Alexa Schaefer. Anne was predeceased by her two sisters, Gertrude and Sadie. A viewing is scheduled Tuesday at Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Ave, from 2-4PM and 7-9PM. A funeral mass will be held at St. Ann Church, 854 Midland Ave., Yonkers on Wednesday, with the time to be announced. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society.
