Obituary of Patricia DiBerardino

Patricia Ann DiBerardino (Yasinska), age 78, a lifelong resident of Yonkers, died peacefully surrounded by family on October 16, 2022, after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease.  She was a strong, loving, compassionate and generous wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many.

Patricia enjoyed spending time with family and friends, which always involved a lot of love and laughter and often included food, drink and the slowest cup of coffee ever had.  In her spare time, she enjoyed baking and decorating cakes, dancing and listening to Elvis and Polka music, doing crossword puzzles, caring for countless houseplants and decorating the home for the holidays.  She always kept the home warm, inviting and full of joy.

Patricia joins her son Anthony, her parents, grandparents and other loved ones in heaven. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Arthur, her daughter Michelle, son and daughter-in-law, Artie and Elaine, and daughter Louise.  She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Jessica, Josh, Jamie, Artie, Amanda, Nicholas, Daniel, Lauren, and Kaitlynn and two great-grandchildren, Alessandria and Joshua.  She leaves behind her brother, Jim, sister, Lorraine, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A viewing will be held at Sinatra Funeral Home (499 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers, NY) on Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.  Funeral services will be held at Sacred Heart Church (110 Shonnard Place, Yonkers, NY) on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 9:30am.
