Diana Isabel Tovar, age 23, passed away on Monday October 17, 2022 at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY after her courageous battle with Leukemia.
Diana was born on August 27th, 1999 in Yonkers, NY to Pedro and Carmela Tovar. She is survived by her father and mother, followed by her brother Uriel and sister Maribel. As well as by her beloved cats, Tyler and Isabella.
Devoted Cat Lady, not only did she adore her precious kitties; she also volunteered at Petsmart caring for cats that were looking for their forever home. Her love for them was endless.
She spread joy and happiness to everyone with her beautiful smile, gaining the nickname "Smiley" when she participated in karate as a child. She was always full of laughter and loved every moment of life. She radiated with positivity.
Diana is the true definition of a strong person. Even in the most difficult of times, giving up was never an option for her. She always pushed through any obstacle that came her way. Never complaining or showing any fear. She remained humble and kind. Her words to live by "Treat People with Kindness."
