Janine Faruolo Anderson of Naples, FL, formerly of Chappaqua, NY, passed away peacefully October 18th, 2022, in Naples, FL. At age 93. She was born in New York, New York to the late Charles and Lole (Aitken) Faruolo. She is the granddaughter of the famed sculptor, Robert Aitke. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her four children: Gary (Jennie) Anderson, Lynne Brennan, Nancy (Tim) Salkow, and Gregory Anderson, eight grandchildren; Burke (Kristina) Anderson, Scott (Laura) Brennan, Janine Tiffany Anderson, David A. (Ann) Clark, Cory (Bethany) Clark, Kaley Anderson, Evand Anderson, and Cole Anderson. Four great-grandchildren; Jack Brennan, Olivia Brennan, Arthur Clark, and Philip Clark. Janine was a graduate of Horace Greeley High School in Chappaqua, N.Y. and Hobart and Will Smith College in Geneva N.Y. She was known to many for her intelligence, sense of humor, and ability to bring out the best in others. She enjoyed reading and exploring her deep love of travel and history. She knew no strangers, and relished in a good debate on any topic, being a remarkably good listener as well. She always made those around her feel at ease with her sharp wit and keen sense of humor. She was also a dedicated member of the Pelican Bay Women's League in Naples, Florida for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Vincent Anderson, son-in-law Robert Brennan, and her grandson Lucas Aitken Anderson. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at the Kenisco Cemetery in Valhalla, New York on Saturday, October 22nd at 11:30 a.m.
