Nivia Carmona was born April 18, 1933 in Yauco, Puerto Rico to Juan & Elisa Carmona. She had a sister, Ella Pane who passed away in 2000. Nivia is known to her friends as Pitin and to her family as Titi. She was the "Life of Every Party" She met her soul mate Bob through her best friend and they have been together for 50 years. They are totally inseparable and are truly dedicated to each other. Nivia worked as an administrative assistant in a textile company in NYC for 40 years and retired and went with Bob to Florida where they built a house. They returned to New York in 2018 and lived in Yonkers until moving to St. Cabrini Nursing Home together. Nivia brought light and laughter wherever she went and will be remembered for her great smile and laugh. She is survived by: Robert Hernandez – her light Ella & Alfred, Eileen & Ed - her nieces and nephews Christine, Sally, Joey, Juliet, Lucas, Holly and James – her grand nieces and nephews She will be TRULY be missed.
