Obituary of Jane Reba Heiss

The world has just lost a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend to so many. Jane Schamberg-Heiss was born on July 15th, 1961, and passed away unexpectedly in her home on November 20th, 2022, at the age of 61. She is survived by her four children -- Jaime, Kevin, Edward, and Alyssa -- as well as her four grandchildren. In 2016, Jane became a widow to her late husband, James Heiss. Jane often said the birth of her grandchild, James, who was born shortly after her husband's passing, gave her the strength and comfort to cope with the devastating loss. Baby James "filled that spot in her heart," and she did nothing short of showing it! Jane's family was truly the light in her life, and she devoted her time to caring for her grandchildren. She spent every single day playing with them, singing and teaching them songs and showering them with love. Jane loved her family with all her heart and always made them her number one priority. One could always count on her to be there for her children and her grandchildren. She also loved to draw and was a very talented artist, as is evidenced by the many beautiful pieces of artwork that hang in the Heiss household. Jane really was the glue that held her family together, always showing so much love and loyalty to her family amid life's many struggles. She was truly a blessing and a beautiful person to be around, making friends feel like family. She welcomed everyone into her world with open arms, which was one of her countless beautiful qualities. Jane will be forever missed by so many, family and friends alike. Please join her family in remembering her on Wednesday, November 30th.
