Angelo"Charles" Nola, age 85, a lifelong resident of Yonkers until 2006 before moving to Pembrooke Pines, Fl were he died Sunday, February 14, 2010. Mr. Nola was born January 27, 1925 in Yonkers, NY the son of the late Giovanni and Angelina (Monte) Nola. He served in the Army during World War II in the 88th Armored Calvary Recon Unit and was a proud member of the Armando Rauso Post #40 in Yonkers. Mr. Nola was a Licensed Electrical Contractor and owned Nola Electric until his retirement in 1990. Beloved husband of Frances (Rinaldi) Nola. Devoted father of John (Marie) Nola, Charles (Anna) Nola and James (Silvia) Nola. Loving Grandfather of Daria Nola Hann, Jennifer Nola, Christina Nola, Deanna Nola, Brianna Nola and Stephannie Nola. Charles was predeceased by his Brothers John Nola, Dominick Nola and Emanuel (Sonny) Nola. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Wednesday from 3PM to 9PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral mass will be Thursday at 10:00 at Mt Carmel Church, 70 Park Hill Ave, Yonkers.
