Obituary of Lena Costanzo

Lena Costanzo, 89, of Yonkers, NY, passed away on January 25, 2023. Lena was born on July 9, 1933 to Filomena and Angelo Colucci in Baiano, Italy. Lena and her sisters Mary and Filomena moved to America with their parents in 1947. 

In 1957, Lena met her husband Louis Costanzo at a dance in Brooklyn. They married later that same year and went on to have 3 children, Natale, Angelo, and Gina.

Lena worked as an administrative assistant for New York State Division of Youth for 25 years. Lena volunteered as a treasurer for the Saint Ann’s sodality and she was an avid parishioner. 

Lena enjoyed gardening, cooking, traveling, knitting, and spending time with her family. 

Lena was predeceased by her husband Louis, her sisters Mary (Napolitano) and Filomena (Colucci). 

She is survived by her 3 children, Natale, Angelo, and Gina, as well as her 4 grandchildren Joseph, Nicole, Vincent, and Adrianna.
