Michael Starro, 64 life long resident of Yonkers, New York passed away Saturday, January 28, 2023.
Michael worked for the City of Yonkers for over 37 years. He was an avid football fan and of the Greenbay Packers. He loved nothing more than his family and spending time with his grandchildren. He would give you the shirt off his back and always loved a good preach on life lessons.
He is survived by his wife Anne Marie(Wasserman); His Children Marissa (Michael), Michael (Heather) and Mariah; Beloved grandchildren Stella, Giana, Olivia, and Michael; Brother Thomas Starro(Mary); Sister in law Debra Hernandez; Brother in Law David Wasserman(Nereida); and Newphews, Luis, Thomas, Kevin, and Patrick.
Michael is predeceased by his parents, Thomas Starro and Doris(Thorn).
Visiting hours are Wednesday, February 1, 2023 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Sinatra Memorial Home, 499 Yonkers, Ave., Yonkers, NY. Mass of Catholic Burial will be offered on Thursday , February 2, 2023, 10:00am at St. Ann's Catholic Parish, 854 Midland Avenue, Yonkers, NY. Followed by the burial at St. Joseph's Cemetery 209 Truman Ave Yonkers NY 10703.
In Lieu of Flowers the family asks that any donations be made to the Bone Marrow & Cancer Foundation.
