Michael Cardamone, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away of natural causes with his family by his side March 9th, 2023. Born, in Yonkers, NY, on June 17th, 1928 to Natalie and Angela Cardamone, Mike was a lifelong resident of Yonkers, NY until he moved to Beacon, NY in 2010 and West Melbourne, FL in 2022. Mike served proudly in the United States Navy, Atlantic Fleet, stationed in Bainbridge, MD, Norfolk VA and Argentia, Newfoundland from 1946-1949. He married his wife Mary (pre-deceased) on Dec. 17th 1954 in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Together they raised their six children in Yonkers NY. Mike worked for Otis Elevator and retired from the US Postal Service after 46 years of service. He was an active member in the Knights of Columbus serving as Grand Knight the chief council officer at Larkin Plaza. Mike was devoted to family. He is survived by his six children Michael Cardamone and his wife Kathleen, Marian Sciarpelletti and her husband Francis, Steven Cardamone and his wife Debra, Christine Desnoyers and her husband Michael, David Cardamone and his wife Teresa, John Cardamone and his wife Dana; 12 grandchildren; 1 step-grandson; 1 great-granddaughter and many loved ones from his extended family.
