Obituary of Robert Francis Higgins

Robert Francis Higgins III (Bobby), 54, of Yonkers,N.Y. passed away on Friday, 4/7/23, after a short illness. Bobby was the first of three children born to Lorena (Renie) De Palma Higgins and Robert F. Higgins Jr., both of Yonkers, on 11/22/68. He attended Yonkers schools and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1988. After graduation, he worked for 20 years at WARC on Yonkers Ave. in Yonkers, enjoyed participating in Special Olympics, bowling on a league, baseball, and music. Bobby was predeceased by his father who passed in March 2011. He is survived by his mother, brother Brian, sister Lauren (Ross) Schafer, his only nephew Robbie Higgins, many aunts, uncles and cousins. There will be a wake at Sinatra Memorial Home, 499 Yonkers Ave. on Monday, 4/10/23 from 4-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Monastery Church on Shonnard Place on Tuesday, 4/11/23 at 11:00 a.m. and a private burial will immediately follow.
