Scott Thomas Gibson, age 65 of Buchanan, NY, passed away on 4/20/2023 of natural causes
Scott was born on 3/19/1958 to Mary Patricia Gibson (Giannico) and George Allen Gibson
Scott was raised in Yonkers NY where he went to public schools graduated from Yonkers High School before entering the US Army. He served from 10/13/1978 through 12/15/1981 as a grade PV2.
While in the Army he served in Germany his last duty assignment was the 73rd MI CO USAREUR he earned the Marksman Grenade Sharpshooter M-16 and the Aircraft Crew Member Badge.
He was first employed at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Con Edison as a meter reader then a splicer, he also worked for Westchester County as a Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator, Then at the NY City Housing Authority, then traveled to Iraq to do water treatment for one year finally he retired in 2019 from the Montrose Veterans Association doing building maintenance.
He was married 11/06/1993 in Croton on Hudson NY to Susan Kollar, they had one son Philip Thomas Gibson.
He was pre deceased by His Mother Mary Gibson, Father George A Gibson, Brother Keith Gibson and Brother Bruce Gibson. He is survived by his Brother George A Gibson ( Hooty ) and his son Philip Thomas Gibson.
His hobbies included hunting and fishing. He was an avid fan of the Yankees, Giants and Rangers. He was very proud of his son philip and enjoyed talking about him.
