William Cache Sheridan of Yonkers passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. William was a senior at Yonkers Middle High School. Curious, intelligent, generous, loving, empathetic, and grateful, William loved his friends, gardening, being out in nature, his beloved dog AK, and most of all, his family. Additionally, his girlfriend, Taz Adams, lit up his life with love, joy, and fun. Although William was born and raised in Yonkers, he had a deep connection to his roots in Western Pennsylvania, Southern Oklahoma, and Cape Cod.
William is survived by his father Chris, his mother Carole Parkey, and his brother John. Additional survivors include his grandmother Peggy Sheridan, uncles Luke (Patricia) and Justin; aunts Rebecca Malone (Tom), Jennifer, Brenda, and Bernadette (Tom Hubbs); grandfather Dr. Paul Parkey (Belinda) of southern Oklahoma, Penny Morford, great-uncle John R. Wilson III, great-aunt Carole (Bill Martin), aunts Mariah Parkey and Hillary Parkey; uncles John Parkey (Camille Webb), Seth Parkey (Allison), Nathan Parkey, and Thomas Parkey; cousins Daniel, Patrick, and Bobby Malone; Devery, Moth, and Corey Sheridan; Daphne and Oscar Parkey; Maddison and Carson Parkey; Olivia, Georgia, and Ben Parkey; Andrew and Lily Taber. Predeceased by grandmother Janet Parkey, uncle Neil Parkey, and grandfather Bob Sheridan.
Friends and family will gather at Sinatra Funeral Home (499 Yonkers Avenue) on Friday, May 5 from 3 to 7pm. A memorial service will be held at 10am on Saturday, May 6 at St. John’s Episcopal Church Getty Square (1 Hudson Street).
