Obituary of Geraldine A. Casale

Gerry was born in Yonkers, New York and attended St. Denis grammar school and graduated from Sacred Heart High School in June of 1966. Upon graduating from Career Academy in New York City, she worked as a laboratory technician at St. Joseph's Hospital in Yonkers. Gerry traveled extensively, with her family, throughout many countries around the world. From 1974 to 1985 she lived in Italy and Sweden where her children, Valeria and Daniel, also attended school. She learned to speak Swedish and was fluent in Italian as well.

Gerry loved music and going to concerts and Broadway shows. She also had a passion for cooking and enjoyed entertaining and cooking for family and her many friends. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Gerry is survived by her husband, George Casale of Bronxville, her daughter, Valeria R.Casale of Briarcliff Manor, and her sister, Lorraine Celio of Bronxville.  She was predeceased by her parents, Simone (Sam) and Rose (Ferraro) Celio of Yonkers, and her beloved son, Daniel.Casale.
