Obituary of Joseph F. Greco

With deep sorrow we announce the passing of Joseph Greco. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Joseph is survived by his wife Katherine, and three children: Jennifer, Joseph, and Peter. Along with three grandchildren: Grace, Emma, and Troy. He was a devoted brother to Virginia and Ciro. He grew up in the Parkhill area of Yonkers and worked and lived in Yonkers all his life. He was a wonderful friend to many!! Joseph is a proud veteran and served in the military. He worked as an accountant for 50 years and had many faithful clients. He often boasted that his greatest accomplishments were his children and grandchildren. His love of life was contagious and was a role model for many people.

His character was like no other; affectionate, generous, passionate and just plain amazing. It was more than an honor to know him! Joseph was the most charitable person of resources and time to those that needed him. His family came first and he made sure everyone was taken care of from immediate to extended family and close friends. Joseph donated time and money to those that needed it. He enjoyed working with the veterans, and was honored to call himself one. Joseph succumbed to a liver disease at the end. His loss will be grieved and felt by many. However, family and friends, we must celebrate the wonderful life of Joseph F. Greco.

We wish in lieu of flowers, to consider donating to the Veterans Bedside Network. It is a local non-profit organization that helps confined veterans or veterans in need. He would want this. Thank you!
