Daquon always impressed me for the love that he had for his family and in particular for his sisters. He also would have me laughing in stitches telling me family stories. I was truly devastated by the news: it was a somber day at Lincoln Hall when the news broke. I am so sorry for his family’s loss.

I will always remember you as my favorite resident at Lincoln Hall. You protected me when you saw a kid trying to be respectful towards me. When you made me mad i always called you Isiah. When you discharged ' i said to you make sure you get your high school diploma' and that you did. Youvwill be missed and yes you pictures will remain in my office hanging up. I thought of you today, but that is nothing new, i thought about you yesterday , and days before that too. Please give us grace as we struggle through our thoughts and ideas and try to articulate what an amazing inspiration young man you was. Life has shown us again its hurtful side by taking you away from us when we didn't see it coming. God knows how much we needed you and it was time to go his way. Yk the other day I was just sitting at work thinking about you and I grabbed a pen and paper and just wrote everything that was on my mind to you but man this really hits home and is so hard, I never in a million years thought it would be you who would leave this world and leave me scarred forever. In middle school dp was my best friend we was always together in school and my house smoking hookah, blasting music and talking shit. He was always an extra hand cleaning up whatever looked like a mess to him and lectured me and others for not being ocd like him. Daquon will always be in my heart!!
