Obituary of Pedro E. Estrada

Pedro E. Estrada passed away suddenly on Tuesday August 1st, 2023 surrounded by his mother, sisters and nephew. Pedro was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador in 1955. Pedro immigrated to the United States at the age of 14 with his mother Mercedes & sisters Grace and Monica in 1970 settling with his family in the Bronx, NY. Pedro was a hard worker getting his job at the local A&P where he stayed for 45 years while putting himself through CUNY-City College ultimately graduating and starting a career as an engineer. He was a proud US Citizen who focused on loving his family above all else. Pedro retired from his engineering career in June of 2021 from Curtiss Wright where he planned on moving to Florida with his mother and sister to enjoy retirement in warmer weather with an open home filled with love for his family Pedro is survived by his mother Mercedes, his two sisters Grace (and Johnny), and Monica, his nephew Rick (and Michelle) and our newest member of our family, his great niece Summer Ann. Wake services will be held Sunday August 6th, 2023 3pm-7pm at Sinatra Memorial Home  (499 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers, NY) Burial services to take place August 7th, 2023 at Mt Hope Cemetery (50 Jackson Ave, Hasting-on Hudson, 10706)
