Obituary of Rocco Di Campli
On Tuesday, August 8th 2023 Rocco Di Campli loving Husband, Father, Nonno and Bisnonno passed peacefully with his family by his side at his home in Yonkers.
He was born in Ortona, Provincia Di Chieti, Italy to Thomasso Di Campli and Concetta Biasone on June 25th, 1936 as one of eight children. He is survived siblings Liberata, Antoinette, Maria and Giovanni
He met the love of his life, Filomena Rosato and they wed on August 31st 1959 who predeceased him on March 19th 2011. They had two children, Thomas and Concetta.
He was a Machinist by trade and he worked for Merchants Metal in Yonkers.
He is survived by his two children Thomas and Concetta (Robert Jones), six grandchildren; Gabriella, Thomas John, Robert, Alyssa, Juliana, and Laura, his three great grandchildren; Thomas, Matthew and Logan. He also leaves behind his Sister-in-law Maria, Brother-in-law Rosario and many loving nieces and nephews
His joys in life were spending time with his grandchildren and his great grandchildren. His hobbies included tinkering with and refurbishing electronics, especially vintage radios.
He will remain in our hearts forever and will be greatly missed.
