Joseph A. Pastore was born to Carmela and Pasqualino Pastore, in the
Medieval town of Brienza (Potenza), Italy. He came to the USA with his parents
and his sister, Maria, in 1958.
He attended Cardinal Hayes High School in the Bronx, and graduated from
Fordham University with a Bachelor of Arts in 1974. He received a Bachelor of
Science in Pharmacy from Long Island University in 1992, and a Master of Science
from Iona College in 1995.
He enjoyed watching the Yankees and the History Channel.
Joseph was a pharmacist in Connecticut, at Norwalk Hospital, from 1993-to-2019,
when he became ill with cancer.
Joseph is survived by his beloved sister, Maria, with her two daughters, Maria
married to Robert and their three sons (Bobby, Jack, and Tommy), Susette
married to Michael and their four children (Michael, Vincent, Jennifer, and
Danielle).
Joseph was always seen as a loving grandfather by his sister's seven grand-
children and he loved the most being with his family.
