Our beloved mother and daughter to Laura Cook, Diane Cook passed away in her home on 9/11/23 at the age of 70. She is

survived by her children Karriem A Thomas, Joseph Cook, Lashawn R Buntin, and Stephanie Cook, two brothers and three sisters and numerous family and close friends. Diane is known for her dancing feet and passion for human rights. Diane will be missed dearly by all who knew her. Dianes family ask that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life, not the sadness of her passing. Services for Diane will be at Sinatra Funeral Home. Diane's children have organized a public memorial on 9/22/23 at Sinatra Funeral Home in Yonkers, NY and ask anyone with fond memories, stories or keepsakes to feel free to attend and share. Flowers and memorial gifts are welcomed but not necessary.
