I am very sorry to read about Señor Mel’s passing. He was a genuinely honest, hardworking man that put his wife and children ahead of all in love and happiness.
As father to Ray and Tisha, he made sure that both grew up to be the loving and ambitiously caring individuals they are now.
One piece of advise he had for me in a time where the streets could’ve directed me in a different direction was that he told me, “Put your family first, and think about the decisions you make now so that your decisions don’t impact your life negatively later…”
Those words meant a lot, and for that I am sincerely in eternal debt.
My condolences to all your beloved family and colleagues that you leave behind in your wake. May your suffering cease and your loved ones be blessed.
