Obituary of Josephine S. Pernicone

Please share a memory of Josephine to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Josephine "Sandra" Pernicone sadly passed away on September 18, 2023, at the age of 61. She was a wonderful mother who was always there for her 2 daughters, Julia and Sofia. She was a loving wife, sister, aunt, and great aunt. Sandra had many friends and was well-loved by everyone who knew her. Sandra lit up a room the moment she walked in. She had an infectious smile and fun loving personality. She enjoyed life to the fullest and even when she fell ill she found the strength to care for everyone around her. Sandra battled breast cancer for many years. With the love and support of her family and friends, she fought this battle without many people even knowing she was sick. She enjoyed life and surrounded herself with the people she loved. Our family will never be the same without Sandra. While our hearts are broken we will cherish all of the memories that we had with her. She was predeceased by her parents Maria and Giuseppe Salva, and is survived by her husband John, daughters Sofia and Julia, son-in-law Jack, her beloved dog, Chloe, her sister Tina, brother-in-law Henry, and all over her nieces and nephews.
