Obituary of Katelyn Lee Sung

Katelyn Lee Sung was born June 11 2002. She was born in the Bronx to her mother Nitza Quinones and father UJoon Sung. Katie past away on September 6th, 2023. Her life was cut short at the tender age of 21, while she was on a trip out of the country, for the first time, in the Dominican Republic. Katelyn grew up in Yonkers and graduated from Gorton high school. She was currently attending the College of Westchester and had completed a semester. She was very proud of the grades that she obtained. (She got A's). Katie loved animals (all animals). She frequently talked about her 2 cats which she loved dearly. She loved playing games, taking pictures, listening to music, eating good food, staying home spending time with family and friends. Katie was a very loving girl who looked for the best in people, she was very trusting of people. She was loved by many and was spoiled by her mom because she was the youngest child, the Baby. At 18 she married Jarrett Santiago who she was blindly in love with. She is survived by her 5 siblings John, Danitza, Ethan, Aliza and Kai. Also her parents Nitza, UJoon, aunts, uncles, cousins and husband. We will always treasure the brief time we had with you and nothing can ever take away the love that our heart holds dear.
