Obituary of Christine Thompson

Christine Thompson, 72, died on October 2, 2023 at St. John's Riverside Hospital, Yonkers NY. Christine was born on August 5, 1951 at Mount Vernon Hospital, but raised in Yonkers NY where she resided the rest of her life. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1969 and then attended Westchester Community College, where she earned a degree in accounting. She went on to be an accountant/comptroller for the JCC on the Hudson, Tarrytown NY from 1995 until retirement in 2023. Christine married Michael John Thompson on May 11, 1974 and shortly after started a family. Her favorite pastimes were enjoying the sunny beaches of Seaside Heights, NJ where she would collect seashells, annual family vacations to Lake George, and relaxing at home with a glass of wine while crocheting. Christine is predeceased by her parents, Robert Reynolds and Constance Anglim Reynolds. She is survived by her brothers Scott (Cheryl), and Richard Reynolds as well as her three children; Michael Thompson Jr. (Denise), Laura Jackson (Artez), Brian Thompson (Keri), and step daughter, Diana Bartolotta. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren; Brianna Hayes, Olivia Thompson, Taya Jackson, Michael Thompson, Jasena Jackson, and Dylan Thompson.
