Bernadette was a funny and kind woman. I knew her from St. Ann's Parish, where she was a devoted parishioner who was always at every event and function the parish held, including our Pancake Breakfasts with her loving husband Frank, and we shared many memories together, with one of them being her love for music, especially the doo-wop music of the 50s and 60s and Credence Clearwater Revival. Also, she helped organize the arrangement of the Christmas flowers on the altar and did so much for St. Ann's that it's hard to list everything she participated in. Now, she is on her way to Heaven to be with God, his angels and his saints. Rest in peace Bernadette. You will be sorely missed by everyone

Bernadette....My heart is aching.....we have been friends for 45 years.... I have wonderful memories of our adventures....spending New Years Eve in Atlantic City and me waking up at 3am to find you sitting on the edge of the pull out sofa, watching tv and eating cold baked ziti and then going out the day after a blizzard and trudging thru 2 feet of snow for 5 blocks because you wanted cake....and then trudging back....
You were a wonderful friend....you would do anything for anybody..... You always put everyone ahead of you regardless of how you were feeling. You were one in a million and I am blessed to have had you in my life, as a wonderful and dedicated friend for so many years.
I hope you are at peace, my friend, enjoying the glory of Heaven and being reunited with your Mom and Dad.
You will be missed more than you'll ever know....

Bernadette was that rarest of people who always thought of others before herself. We texted or spoke daily and I am so lucky to have known her, and grateful that I told her how much she meant to me. Everyone should be so blessed to have someone like her in their life. My heart breaks for her family.
