Akram F. Marjieh, 64 of Yonkers, NY passed away in his home in the early morning hours of October 11, 2023 Wake Services: Sinatra memorial Home, October 13, 2023 for 4:00pm- 8:00pm Funeral: Saturday October 14, 2023 at 10:00am at Saint Mary's Church 103 South Broadway Yonkers NY Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery located at 50 Jackson Ave Yonkers followed by the Mercy Meal at the Westchester Manor located at 140 Saw Mill Rd Hastings-on-Hudson Akram Was born in Zarqa, Jordan to Fhaid & Afaf Marjieh on December 9, 1958. He immigrated to the United States with his family in 1974. He attended Yonkers High School and went to Fairleigh Dickinson University where he graduated with a Mechanical Engineering degree. Akram had many hobbies: he spent most of his time working on creative projects, playing music, gardening, reading books, traveling & drawing. Akram was very knowledgeable in all topics he even was called the "Walking Encyclopedia" by so many. Akram is survived by his loving wife Amani, his two daughters Zayna & Marie whom he loved more than anything in the world. He is also survived by his siblings Laila, Kamel, Kamal, Kameel, Karam, Susan & many nieces and nephews. Akram was a friend to all, a kind and generous man to everyone he met, and a true gentleman. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
