Helen T. Paolicelli a life long Yonkers resident died peacefully on October 12, 2023 at the age of 98. Born in Yonkers she was the daughter of the late Neal & Christina (Timpone) Vetrano. She was married to Nicholas Paolicelli for 63 years; he proceeded her in 2007. She worked in the Yonkers Public Schools as the "Lunch Lady". She had a love for children.
You could have found her hoping on a bus to Atlantic City or going Empire Casino in Yonkers.
She is survived by her son Nicholas (Pamela) and by 7 Grandchildren; 15 Great-Grandchildren and 6 Great-Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was proceeded by her husband Nicholas, her son Joseph and daughter-in-law Judy also by her brothers Eli & Michael Vetrano and her sister Angela Boldrin.
Anyone who knew Helen knew she had a great love for people especially children. Helen was a great supporter of the Shriners Hospital and Saint Jude Hospital for Children. If you want to honor her memory, you can make a donation to either worthy hospital.
