Please share a memory of Christina to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with heavy hearts that our family shares the devastating passing of our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt Christina Nassar. Christina left us peacefully on October 28, 2023 at the age of 45.
Christina was born on March 3, 1978, at St. John’s Riverside Hospital to Issak and Rosa Gevargiz. She grew up in Yonkers, and fell in love with Kal Nassar in 2002. On June 2, 2007, Christina and Kal were married, and welcomed three children Nicole in 2008, Christopher in 2010, and Joseph in 2013. They settled their beautiful family in Thornwood.
If you were lucky enough to have met Christina, then you know she was a caring, generous and selfless person who offered to help anyone she knew. With her infectious smile, beautiful brown eyes, and a heart bigger than the moon, not a person that met Christina didn’t fall in love with her instantly. Her love for her family and friends was admirable.
Christina loved cooking, hosting family and friends. She enjoyed celebrating holidays and birthdays in a big way. Her favorite activities included vacations in Aruba, visiting the casino, and having fun with her children, nieces and nephews. Christina will be remembered by all as a caring mother who inspired others to be strong, and love life.
Christina leaves behind her husband, Kal Nassar of 16 years, three children Nicole, Christopher, and Joey, and step daughter Jenna. Christina also leaves behind her parents, Issak and Rosa Gevargiz, sisters Mary Lyras and Jennifer Carlone, brother in laws Billy Lyras, Carmine Carlone, nieces Angelina, Giavanna, Amelia, and nephew Nicholas. On her husbands side, Christina leaves her mother in law, Fahema, sister in laws Maha, Maysoon, Jessica Nassar, brother in laws Joseph, Johnny Nassar, not to mention several adoring aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Christina is now reunited with her brother, Edward, who predeceased her in 1999.
The family of Christina Nassar would like everyone to remember her love for family, friends, and giving back.
