Obituary of Paula LaRussell

Paula LaRussell July 26, 1932 - September 15, 2023 Paula LaRussell, 91, passed away peacefully in her home on September 15, 2023. A lifelong resident of Westchester County NY, Paula was born on July 26, 1932 to Anthony and Julia LaPorta of Purchase, NY. She attended Harrison Public Schools, and upon High School graduation she enrolled in Beauty School. Next, along with her sister Frances, she opened and operated Rye Beach Beauty Salon. Additionally, she worked as a dance instructor at Arthur Murray Dance Studio in White Plains. Paula also worked for many years at Westchester Hills Golf Club. Paula was married in 1953 to Nicholas LaRussell with whom she had one daughter. She leaves behind her daughter Linnea Esposito and her son-in-law, Joseph Esposito, along with her two grandchildren, Michael and Julia whom Paula loved and adored. She also leaves behind four nieces and one nephew. She is preceded in death by her ex-husband, Nicholas LaRussell, her parents, Anthony and Julia LaPorta, and her sisters, Diana and Frances, along with their respective spouses, Dr. John Pesello and Joseph Angotta. Paula was loved by all and will be dearly missed. She attended St. Anthony of Padua Church at 85 Harrison Street, West Harrison, NY where family and friends will gather at 10 a.m. Friday, November 3rd for a mass and to honor Paula's life
