Im going to miss you a bunch, I've known you since I was a kid and I remember you getting my brother and I some bikes for Christmas. You were always loving and caring about us and you were such a good friend to my mom. We will miss you dearly and I know you made an impact on so many peoples lives. May God rest your soul.

Christine was the sister God gave me, we knew each other even before my daughters were born, my kids love her so much, she was just an extraordinary human being, she was kind, loving, caring, super funny. Her favorite color was purple. I love you so very much my sister we will miss you. May you rest in Gods loving arms.

I am heartbroken to hear of Christine's passing. She was such a presence at Iona, and I have many fond memories of her smile and laugh. She will be missed.

Christine, always had the right words. I remember her telling me“ opposites attract but similarities kept you together.” Till this day I remember her saying that to me.
I I am lucky to have known her.

Larger than life - that's how I would describe Christine. From the moment I met her I knew I was in store for something very special. I'm so thankful for her warmth, her humor, and her wisdom... and just for getting to be a part of her life.
As she would tell me almost daily, "We are so blessed", and it was a blessing to have my moment in time with her.
Never forgotten.

Christine was the type of person who lit up a room when she walked in, she was full of cheer and merriment, and it was hard to be upset or feel bad when she was around. I knew her through my wife’s involvement as a Campus Minister at Iona College, and we became friends. She was a good friend and shared an honest moment of her time with whomever she encountered. She was one of the kindest people I have ever met. She was the type of person who you wanted to be around in good times or bad because she was fun to be with and larger than life. Her laugh was the best; --- it was loud strong, unbridled and resonated deep from her soul. She always had a smile on her face, a way about her that you just knew were important to her, and she was your friend. You felt that you could be better if you were around her. I was when I was around her. She made some difficult times, with difficult people easier for me because she was there. Someone to listen or give you a hug when you needed, not to mention a kick in the butt. She was like a walking real life Chicken Soup for the Soul. She lifted people up in a world where so many do the opposite. I may not have known her as well as or as long as others but I will always cherish the memories I had with Christine. This is a loss for those who knew her, and those who never met her. Today the world is a less bright without her soul to shine in it.

Christine would tell everyone how we met and how I opened my car door to pay the toll. She never let me forget it. She could tell the story better than me and each time it would funny.

Christine was true friend who taught me the meaning of showing up for each other. She was there for every milestone in my life and she was there in my darkest hour. 30 years of friendship, 30 years of my life's greatest accomplishments wrapped up in my friend's soul. My life will now be divided into the 2 parts- Life with Christine and My Life after Christine. My world is a little dimmer without your sunshine Chrissy-Poo. I don't know who will hold my hand through this crazy thing called life like the way she would but I will try to be the example of a friend that she showed me every day. I will miss my dear sister. See you in the next life my love. Try to keep the party to low roar up in heaven! Mwah!

Christine was truly the most loving and loyal friend anyone could ever have. She had a way of bringing out the best in those around her and always gave her best to all of us that knew her. I feel blessed to have had her as a friend and will cherish the many fond memories I have of her, spanning over 30 years. Every minute spent in Christine’s company was a minute well spent. She was the life of the party and it was impossible not to enjoy her company. She was so uniquely gifted with so many fine qualities. To know her was to love her. I know she will continue to watch over us all, to guide and to protect us. My prayers and sincerest condolences to her family.
