In Loving Memory of Prodencio Elias Adam

Prodencio Elias Adam, born on March 1st, 1930, in Setubal, Portugal, peacefully passed away on November 13, 2023, in Westchester, NY. He is survived by his loving sister, Elvira Cruz, cherished nieces and nephews and dear friends.

Elias will be reunited in heaven with his loving wife, Rose Adam, his two sons Gregory and Michael, his parents, Jose and Aurora Adao, as well as his brothers, Germinal and Alaudio Adao along with his beloved granddaughter, Elaina LaGrotta.

Elias, affectionately known to many, was a beloved family man, an accomplished restaurateur, and a gifted opera singer. He spent many years as the maitre d in NYC’s well known Rainbow Room. His life was a masterpiece, a beautiful symphony that touched the hearts of all who knew him. His legacy of love, culinary excellence, and melodious artistry will forever be cherished.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the wake, which will be held on Friday from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Community Funeral Home, located at 601 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers, NY. A funeral service will take place on Saturday at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home, followed by interment at Mount Hope Cemetery, 50 Jackson Ave, Hastings-on-Hudson, NY.
