Dear Romano family,
I shared many enlightening conversations with your mother. She was a woman ahead of her time. She supported Obama's run for president. Was a wonderful mother-in-law to Tina. And always so welcoming to me and Sam. One day while I was visiting Tina (who was making dinner) Mrs. Romano shared her meatball recipe. So there we were the three of us in Tina and Dan's kitchen making meatballs. They were perfect! I still make them just as she taught us. She lives on in the Gonzalez household, and her meatballs will be forever enjoyed, shared, and celebrated. Rest in peace, Mrs. Romano.
