Obituary of Paul J Hughes

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul J Hughes. Paul departed this world on November 23, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. He was born in Mt. Kisco to Victor and Ann Hughes. He was a beloved husband to Nance(deceased), father to Liz (Tom Hunter), grandfather to Victoria(Stephen Rivera) and Emily(Chris Mendoza), great-grandfather(Austin and Caiden Rivera), brother, uncle, and friend. Paul served in the Korean War. After he was repatriated from the Army he became a carpenter in Westchester. He was an active member of the American Legion post 136 and volunteer firefighter with the Independent Fire Company of Mount Kisco. He was also an active member of St. Francis Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Legion Post 136 of Mount Kisco or Independent Fire Company.
