Since my balance issues will keep me from attending the services on Saturday, I have written the below to be read or just shared with the family.
Who was Reggie Mundey to me?
I met Reggie and his beautiful wife Adele back in the early 1990’s when they purchased their co-op on Warburton Avenue. We would be in touch every now and then, until we got his real estate license and came onboard as one of my agents.
He loved his wife more than anything in life and thru all her many illnesses we would say she was so strong and anyone that was blessed to have known her saw she got more beautiful with age. When she constantly pulled thru whatever health issue she was dealing with, we talked about how she was a cat with nine lives.
That brings me to the many early morning conversations we had about them cats that drove Reg crazy. Reg was sort of my protector when I would get in early into the office he was always there.
He loved and was so proud of his grand daughter Alayla. He told me she is so smart, loves to read and is strong in school especially in math. I had her picture that he gave to me, she was young and I remember she had on a yellow shirt. I had given her a gift card and she wrote me a thank you letter.
He called My Husband Mr. B and me Boss lady. He loved doing real estate and always wanted to learn.
I recall one time he had a deal and the property did not allow pets, so you would assume they had no pets. Reg said they have no pets ONLY A CAT. We laughed!!!
He also loved his JAZZ music. I am sure in heaven he will be jamming.
Rest in peace, until we meet again.
Love Boss Lady Sherry and Mr. B
